Recommendation: <br />M/S Bain /Howard: <br />1. By resolution, authorize sole source purchase of LUKE model "pay -by- space" <br />parking meters (manufactured by Digital Payment Technologies of Vancouver, <br />Canada) for an amount of $402,957 and suspend the requirements of Article <br />VII, PURCHASING, Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code governing competitive <br />bidding. <br />2. By resolution, appropriate $402,957 from the Parking Fund for the purchase of <br />LUKE parking meters. <br />3. By motion, authorize staff to execute an agreement with Digital Payment <br />Technologies for the purchase of forty (40) LUKE model parking meters in the <br />amount of $402,957. <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />M/S Bain /Howard to: <br />4.
