Equipment Requirements . SBWMA Own Shorewav Stationary Equipment. The SBWMA shall continue owning the stationary equipment at the Shoreway facility such as recyclable materials sorting equipment, balers, fueling station, and scales. (unchanged) . SBWMA Consider OwninQ Collection Equipment and OperatinQ RollinQ Stock. The SBWMA shall research its ownership and financing of vehicles, containers, and on-site rolling stock needed for operation of the Shoreway facility. If legally feasible and financially advantageous, the SBWMA shall offer, as an option to proposers, that the SBWMA will own and finance the equipment and lease it to the contractor(s). (new) . Alternative Fuel. The SBWMA shall research alternative fuel options for vehicles and shall encourage or require use of alternative fuel vehicles for some or all of the vehicles and equipment. (new) . Policy for New or Used Vehicles and Containers. If the SBWMA does not provide ownership and financing of the vehicles, containers, and facility rolling stock: _ The future collection contractor shall be required to provide aU new residential collection containers (new) - The future collection contractor may provide services with used collection vehicles and used commercial containers, at their discretion (subject to maximum age limits) (new) _ The facility operations contractor may provide services with used rolling stock and transfer vehicles, at their discretion (subject to maximum age limits) (new) . Collection Equipment Requirements. Member agency franchise agreements shall prescribe equipment requirements as follows: _ Residential collection containers: Wheeled carts of 20~, 30~, 60~, and 90~ gallons (or similar volumes) (new) _ Commercial collection containers: Wheeled carts of 20~, 30~, 60~, and 90. gallons (or similar volumes) and bin container sizes of 1-, 2~, 3-,4-, and 6- cubic yards (expansion) - Collection vehicles shall have cameras to monitor collection activities (new) . Facility Equipment Requirements. Shoreway facility rolling stock and transfer vehicles shall be equipped with cameras to monitor the area behind the vehicles. (new) .
