<br />6.1C <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Alternative <br />Direct Staff to continue negotiations with the Police Sergeants Association. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The above enhancements to the Memorandum of Understanding are within the maximum <br />authority set by the City Council. The total package costs for this four-year contract is <br />$648,368. The salary freeze savings is $160,323 bringing the net cost of the four year <br />agreement to $488,048 for all salary and benefit items. This includes salary increases in <br />the second, third and fourth year of the contract as projected to be 9%, 4%, and 4%, <br />respectively.
