<br />6.1C <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />for the floating holidays eleven (11) only upon completion of twelve (12) months' service <br />with the City. <br /> <br />The following shall be paid holidays to all employees who are covered by this MOD: <br /> <br />1. New Year's Day <br />2. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (observed on the 3rd Monday in January) <br />3. Washington's Birthday (Observed on the third Monday in February) <br />4. Memorial Day (Observed on the last Monday in May) <br />5. Independence Day <br />6. Labor Day (Observed on the first Monday in September) <br />7. Veterans Day (Observed November II) <br />8. Thanksgiving Day <br />9. The Day after Thanksgiving <br />10. Christmas Day <br />11. Four administrative holidays and such other days as may be proclaimed local <br />holidays. <br /> <br />In the event any of the holidays specified above occurs while an employee is on vacation <br />or sick leave, the holiday shall not be charged as vacation or sick leave. <br /> <br />A holiday that falls on Saturday shall be celebrated on Friday and a holiday that falls on <br />Sunday shall be celebrated on Monday. <br /> <br />In the event that any Administrative Holiday has not been used by the last pay period in <br />the year (based on the preceding 26 pay periods), the City will endeavor to make <br />payment on the non-payroll Friday immediately following the first payroll Friday in <br />January; however the payment will be made no later than the first pay period in <br />F ebn.ary. <br /> <br />7.17 Call Back! Call-Out Pay <br /> <br />Employees who are called back after leaving work at the end of the normal working day <br />or called in to work on their days off shall be credited with no less than two (2) hours at <br />the overtime rate. <br /> <br />7.18 Deferred Compensation <br /> <br />Effective with the first full pay period on or after September I, 2003, the City shall <br />contribute an amount equal to two percent (2%) of base monthly salary to a deferred <br />compensation plan offered by the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 8.
