This proposal <br />supercedes our previous proposal dated June 16, 2006. The services follow our <br />geological and geophysical survey for ground-water supply feasibility and water well <br />location (Geoconsultants, Inc., 2006). We concluded in our report that there is the <br />potential to develop a small diameter irrigation well with suitable yield characteristics at <br />the site of electrotelluric sounding ETS-3. We recommended that the water-yielding <br />potential of the location should be confirmed by the drilling and evaluation of a test <br />hole, followed by construction of a production well, as applicable. <br /> <br />Although you will be the primary inspector on this project, it is prudent to have a <br />consultant represent the City's interests during the test drilling, construction, and <br />testing of the well. Therefore, the purpose of our work as presented in this proposal is <br />to assure that the well will be evaluated and constructed "per specifications". If any <br />disputes arise between the contractor and the City because of unforeseen subsurface <br />conditions affecting construction costs, or situations arise that might call for a change in <br />
