Bolanos I~ Telephone (650) 780-7122 <br /> Police Chief r maamaw FAX Line (650) 780-7149 <br /> <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />April 26, 1999 <br /> <br />Ms. Nancy Lehman <br />RodyCo Productions <br />1417 Irving Street <br />San Francisco, CA 94122 <br /> <br /> Re: The San Francisco Chronicle's Tour de Peninsula <br /> <br /> Dear Ms. Lehman: <br /> <br /> The City Council on April 26, 1999, through Resolution Number XXXXX has <br /> authorized me to issue this letter permitting The San Francisco Chronicle and <br /> RhodyCo Productions to conduct the Tour de Peninsula bicycle ride in Redwood <br /> City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br /> The permission herein is granted to The San Francisco Chronicle and RhodyCo <br /> Productions (hereinafter called "Permittee") to conduct the "Tour de Peninsula." This <br /> permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The Tour de Peninsula" shall be sponsored and conducted <br /> by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 3. Non-transferability: This permit is non-transferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Brewster <br /> between Sequoia High School and Alameda, and Alameda between Brewster <br /> and north City limits. The City agrees to post "No Parking" signs along <br /> Brewster in both directions between Duane Street and Alameda, and on the <br /> east side of Alameda from Brewster to Edgewood. The signs will prohibit <br /> parking on August 1, 1999, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please refer to the <br /> attached map. <br /> <br /> 1 13605 <br /> <br /> <br />
