9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnity and <br /> save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br /> commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, <br /> damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature <br /> whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to <br /> perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or adsing out of <br /> said activities herein permitted. <br /> <br /> 10. City Services: City agrees to provide those services requested in letter <br /> dated February 2, 1999, in furtherance of the activities herein permitted. <br /> <br /> Specifically, the City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> <br /> · Street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 a.m. to pick up <br /> fresh horse droppings along the parade route and jury parking lot at <br /> Middlefield Road and Veterans Blvd. They will again be available along <br /> the festival area at approximately 6:00 p.m. after the festival has closed <br /> on Sunday. <br /> <br /> · Deliver and pick up available bleachers to Marshall and Winslow Streets <br /> pdor to and after the parade. <br /> <br /> · Deliver barricades, as necessary, to locations around the festival area on <br /> Friday, July 2nd no later than 5:00 p.m. and along the parade route as <br /> determined by the Police Department and the PCA. Barricades to be in <br /> place before 7:00 a.m., Sunday, July 4a. <br /> <br /> · Install along the parade route immediately before the parade, the PCA <br /> flags, which are in storage at the Corp Yard and remove them as soon as <br /> possible after the parade. <br /> <br /> · Use of a 1-1/2 inch fire hydrant for an antique fire truck demonstration in <br /> the festival area following the parade on July 4th. <br /> <br /> · Use of parking structure on Marshall Street and use of Hamilton Street <br /> parking lot along Winslow Street for handicap and vendor parking from <br /> 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2n~ until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 4a. <br /> <br /> · No parking in the festival area from 5:00 p.m. on Fdday, July 2"d until <br /> 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 4t~. <br /> <br /> · Posting of"No Parking" signs to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, <br /> July 1s`. <br /> <br /> 11. Restroom Facilities: Adequate temporary restroom facilities shall be <br /> provided by Permittee at no expense to the City. <br /> <br /> 13603 <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
