(307) <br />RESOLUTION 14739 SUPPORTING PROPOSITIONS 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, AND 84 ON <br />THE NOVEMBER 2006 BALLOT <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present with <br />Council Member Howard and Vice Mayor Foust absent. <br />C. Funding Strategy for Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) <br />Statement Number 45 — Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) <br />Director of Financial Services Ponty explained the funding plan. <br />Council Members asked various questions. <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Aguirre /Hartnett to adopt the proposed OPEB funding plan as presented. City Council Member Report of Conference /Meeting Attendance (209) <br />C. Council Member Bain — thanked Janet Borgens for being instrumental in <br />organizing the City's CERT program with Sandy Paoli and Bonnie Miller. The <br />efforts were assisted by Captain Ernie Gomez and Chief Gerry Kohlmann of the <br />Fire Department.
