Engineer review and written authorization from City Engineer is required to <br />insure that the final design meets the City's structural requirements. If <br />howeyer, structural calculations determine that the attachment of the lanterns to <br />the streetlight poles is not feasible, then RDA has the right to terminate the <br />contract. <br /> <br />2. Written authorization to either proceed or to terminate contract will be giyen <br />upon engineer reyiew. <br /> <br />3. Payment: If structural plans are approyed and sealed, there is no payment at <br />this step. <br /> <br />Step Four: <br />Due Date: <br /> <br />PROGRESS VISIT - 50% Fabrication <br />December 1 , 2006 <br /> <br />1. Visit artist's studio. RDA will reyiew the Artwork during the fabrication process <br />at 50% fabrication. RDA will review the Artwork in person as determined by <br />RDA, and will make a good faith effort to identify and advise Artist of any <br />potential problems with the fabrication process or performance standards <br />concerns. Upon reasonable adyance notice to Artist, RDA may elect to reyiew <br />the work in person at any time during the fabrication process. <br /> <br />2. Written authorization will be giyen to proceed to Step Fiye upon written approval <br />of the deliverables by RDA. <br /> <br />3. Payment: RDA will make the Third Interim Payment of $33,600.00 upon receipt <br />of an acceptable inyoice submitted approyed by RDA. <br /> <br />Step Five: COMPLETE FABRICATION <br /> <br />Due Date: January 1, 2006 <br /> <br />1. Approval and Acceptance of the Artwork: Submit 100% completed Artwork. <br />RDA will review the Artwork upon its completion. Artist shall giye RDA at least 14 <br />calendar days notice of this reyiew milestone. Engineering and RDA will reyiew <br />and inspect the Artwork, and shall determine whether all of the design elements, <br />deliverables and milestones for the Artwork have been met. <br />
