<br />. <br /> <br />"'(b) lan-checking Fees When t. valuation of <br />the proposed construction exceeds $1,000.00 and <br />a plan is required to be submitted by subsection <br />(c) of Section 301, a plan-checking fee shall be <br />paid to the Building Official at the time of sub- <br />mitting plans and specifications for checking. <br /> <br />"'Said plan-checking fees for buildings of Groups I <br />and J Occupancies shall be one-half of the build- <br />ing permit fees. Plan-checking fees for all other <br />buildings shall be 65 percent of the building per- <br />mit fees as set forth in Table No.3-A. <br /> <br />"'Where plans are incomplete, or changed so as to <br />require additional plan checking, an additional <br />plan-check fee shall be charged at a rate estab- <br />lished by the Building Official. <br /> <br />"'(c) Expiration of Plan Check Applications for <br />which no permit is issued within 180 days follow- <br />ing the date of application shall expire by <br />limitation and plans submitted for checking may <br />thereafter be returned to the applicant or <br />destroyed by the Building Official. The Build- <br />ing Official may extend the time for action by <br />the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 <br />days upon written request by the applicant show- <br />ing that circumstances beyond the control of the <br />applicant have prevented action from being taken. <br />In order to renew action on an application after <br />expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans <br />and pay a new plan-check fee. <br /> <br />"'(d) In addition to the permit fees prescribed <br />by subsections (a) and (b) above, a strong <br />Motion Instrumentation Fee shall be paid to the <br />Building Official in the amount of sot or .00007 <br />(seven one hundred thousandths) times the Build- <br />ing Permit valuation, whichever is greater. In <br />calculating this fee valuation is computed to the <br />next highest $1,000.00 increment of the valuation <br />as determined by the Building Official. <br /> <br />"'(e) In addition to the fees prescribed by <br />subsections (a), (b) and (d) above, fees shall <br />be paid to the Building Official for the micro- <br />filming of plans, and for inspection services <br />relating to the installation of energy and noise <br />insulation. These fees shall be computed in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br /> <br />"'Records Microfilming: 5% of the basic <br />permit fee [subsection (a)]. <br /> <br />"'Energy Insulation: 6% of the basic per- <br />mit fee [subsection (a)J. <br /> <br />"'Noise Insulation: 8% of the basic permit <br />fee [subsection (a)J. <br /> <br />"'The microfilming fee charge is applicable <br />to all construction permits and occupancies. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
