In the event that certain proposed ordinance of the City of Redwood City, entitled "Ordinance Amending Sections 2.36, 2..4l..l, and 32.8 of the Code of the City of Red\V'ood City Relating to the Designation and Purposes of Certain Funds Therein Specified, Repealing Section 2.41.2 of said Code relating to the Sales Tax Capital Expenditure Fund, and Pro'Jiding for the Disposi,tio:"l of Unexpended Unencumbered Monies in said Funds," is not adopted or does not become effective in accordance with the terms thereo~, or until such time as said ordinance becomes effective, the funds 'designated in the budget adopted herein as the "Equipmenf: Service Fund" and the "Capital Outlay Fund Ii shall have the purposes and terms ascribed to, and be designated as, the "Equipment Replacement Fund" (as said fund exists pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.36 of the Code of the City of Redwood City prior to the effective date of the aforesaid proposed ordinance) and the "Sales Tax Capital Outlay Fund" (as said fund exists pursuant'--to the provisions of Section 2.41.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City prior to the effective date of the aforesaid proposed ordinance), respectively. \ - 5 -
