~ ~ Designating it by the Name 'Atherwood Annexation No. 2'~ Making Certain Findings Respecting said Proceedings~ and, Giving Notice of the Time and Place said Council will Hear Protests to said Annexa- tion," wherein it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said territory and designated it by the above mentioned name, made certain findings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time and place said Council would hear protests thereto~ and (3) That less than twelve registered voters resided within said territory at the time the above mentioned resolution was adopted by this counci1~ and (4) That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution No. 6642 to be published in the manner and within the time required by law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed annex- ation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required by law to be given: all in the manner and time required by 1aw~ and (5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. 6642 set and designate January 24, 1972, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, hour, and place when and where said Council would hear protests against said annexation~ and (6) That none of the territory within the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a community college district: and WHEREAS, this Council duly met and convened at said time and place for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to said proposed annexation, and also at the time(s} and place(s} to which such hearing was continued, and did at the hearing in open public session ask for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and give all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation and received evidence relevant to such annexation: and - 2 -
