WHEREAS, this Council at the time of said hearing found and determined that protests to the proposed annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of Redwood City had not been made by private owners of one-half of the value of said territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, California, nor by private owners and public owners of one-half of the value of the territory as said value has been determined according to law; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby approve the annexation to the City of Redwood City of all the territory designated as "Atherwood Annexation No.2" and hereinafter described, and does also hereby ordain that said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City. The above mentioned territory which is designated as "Atherwood Annexation No.2" is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, described as follows: All that certain real property situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, being a portion of the lands described in the Deed to Jules M. Eichorn and wife recorded' August 1, 1945, in Volume 1190 of Official Records at Page 254, Rec6rds of San Mateo County, California,~being more particularly described' as follows: BEGINNING at an existing concrete monument marking the most Easterly corner of Lot 11, Block 1, as said lot and block are shown on that certain map entitled "Atherwood Being a Subdivision of a portion of the Horgan Ranch, Redwood City, California", filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on June 14, 1950 in Book 31 of Maps at Page 39, which point is also an angle point in the City Limits Line of Redwood City as established by Ordinance No. 571 of the City Council of Redwood City, adopted on March 24, 1947; thence from said point of beginning running along the Southeasterly line of the subdivision shown on said map, and along said city Limits Line, South 410 18' 00" West 147.38 feet to the intersection of said Southgasterly line with the Northeasterly line of the Lands of Redwood City Elementary School District: thence leaving said City Limits Line and running along said Northeasterly line South 480 42' 00" East 349.97 feet to an existing iron pipe monument markin1 - 3 - r
