<br />"Section 12.12 Section 1.60.5 is hereby added to <br /> <br /> <br />Division IV of Article l.of the Fire Code to read as follows: <br /> <br />"'section 1.60.5 <br /> <br />"S....ling Joint" shall mean and <br /> <br />include a pipe joint consisting of two 90 degree ells <br />with a shoulder nipple located between said ells; <br />provided, however, that said term shall include approved <br />and authorized alternative devices.' <br />"section 12.13 Article; 12 (cormnencing with ~12.01) <br />of the F ire Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />" 'ARTICLE 12 <br />F IREvJORKS <br /> <br />"'Section 12.01 <br /> <br />"Fireworks" shall mean and <br /> <br />include any combustible or explosive composition, or <br />any substance or combination of substances, or device <br /> <br /> <br />prepared for the purpose of producing a visible or an <br /> <br />audible effect by combustion, explosion, deflagration <br /> <br />or detonation, and shall include blank cartridges, toy <br /> <br />pistols, toy cannons, toy canes, or toy guns in which <br /> <br />explosives are used, firecrackers, torpedoes, skyrockets, <br /> <br />Roman candles, Daygo bonilis,spark1crs, or other devices <br /> <br />of like construction and any devices containing any <br /> <br />explosive or flammabltV compound, or any tablets or <br /> <br />other device containing any explosive substance, except <br /> <br />tba_t the term" fireworks" shall not include any auto <br /> <br />flares, paper caps containing not in excess of an average <br /> <br /> <br />of 2S/100ths of a grain of explosive content per cap, <br /> <br /> <br />and toy pistols, toy canes, toy gun~ or other devices <br /> <br /> <br />for use of such caps, the sale and use of which shall <br /> <br /> <br />be permitted at all time.s. <br /> <br /> <br />"'section 12.02 The manufacture of fireworks <br /> <br /> <br />within the city is prohibited except under license <br /> <br />-5- <br />
