<br />duly issued by the state Fire Marshal and under permit <br /> <br />issued by the Chief, which permit shall include such <br /> <br />reasonable conditions and requirements as, in the <br /> <br />opinion of the Chief, are necessary or proper to <br /> <br />eliminate hazard to property or danger to any person. <br /> <br />"'section 12.03 <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for <br /> <br />any person (including fair associutions, amusement parks,- <br /> <br />or other organizations, or artisans in pursuit of their <br /> <br />trade) to possess, store, use, or explode any fireworks <br />,1 <br /> <br />for public displays of fireworks except pursuant to a <br /> <br />permit issued hereunder by the Chief for a supervised <br /> <br />pub lic display of fireworks. <br /> <br />III (b) The Chief shall have the authority to adopt <br /> <br />reasonable rules and regulations for the granting of <br /> <br />permits for supervised public displays of fireworks, <br /> <br />and such permits shall include such reasonable conditions <br /> <br />and requirements as in the opinion of the Chief are <br /> <br />. <br />necessary or proper to eliminate hazard to property <br /> <br />or danger to any person. <br /> <br />II , (c) Every su ch use Q}~ display sha 11 be conducted <br /> <br />, by an operator approved by the Chief, and shall be of <br /> <br />such character and so located, discharged or fired as <br /> <br />in the opinion of the Chief after proper investigation, <br /> <br />so as not to be hazardous. to property_or ~1danger any~ <br /> <br />person. <br /> <br />II '(d) Applications for permits for supervised <br />public displays of fireworks shall be made in writing <br /> <br />and filed with the Chief at least ten days in advance <br /> <br />of the proposed date of the display. After such privilege <br /> <br />shall have been granted, possession, storage, use, <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br />~' <br />
