<br />Name & Address of Objector <br /> <br />Oral or <br />Written <br />Objection <br /> <br />Nature of Objection <br /> <br />Dr. Sherman Henry <br />2145 Woodside Road <br />Redwood City, California <br /> <br />Oral <br /> <br />Requested exclusion; <br />no specific reasons <br />stated <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are, and each of them <br /> <br />is, true and correct and the Council so determines. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby <br /> <br />finds and determines that the public necessity, health, safety <br /> <br />and welfare require the establishment of an underground utility <br /> <br />district to accomplish the purposes set forth in Resolution <br /> <br />No. 6125, adopted October 13, 1969, by said Council, within the <br /> <br />area described in "Exhibit A" hereof, attached hereto and <br /> <br />incorporated herein; and this Council hereby further finds and <br /> <br />determines that each and all of the following specific matters <br /> <br />in furtherance of the general public interest exist wfth relation <br /> <br />to said underground utility district: <br /> <br />(a) The undergrounding to be accomplished will avoid or <br />eliminate an unusually heavy concentration of overhead <br />distribution facilities; <br /> <br />(b) The streets, roads or rights of way in the district <br />are extensively used by the general public and carry <br />a heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
