<br />"(g) Execute all of his ordinary powers as M.ayor, all <br /> <br />of the special powers conferred upon him by this chapter <br /> <br />or by resolution adopted pursuant thereto, all powers <br /> <br />conferred upon him by any statute, ordinance, or agreement <br /> <br />approved by the Council of the city of Redwood City, or <br /> <br />approved by any other lawful authority; exercise complete <br /> <br />authority over the City; and exercise all police power <br /> <br />vested in the City by the Constitution of the state of <br /> <br />California, the Charter of the City of Redwood City, statute, <br /> <br />or the general laws." <br /> <br />SECl'ION 4. Section 10.13 lS hereby added to the Code of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 10.13 <br /> <br />All persons, other than officers and <br /> <br />employees of the City, volunteering services pursuant to <br /> <br />the provisions of this article, shall serve without <br /> <br />compensation from the City. While engaged in such services, <br /> <br />they shall have and enjoy the same immunities as officers <br /> <br />and employees of the City performing similar duties." <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Section 10.14 is hereby added to the Code of <br /> <br />the City of RedviOod City, to read as f 0110".'18: <br /> <br />"Section 10.14 <br />-_.--_._-~.. <br /> <br />Proclamation made pursuant to this <br /> <br />chapter shall constitute a calamity under Penal Code <br /> <br />Section 409.5 and be authority for the Chief of Police to <br /> <br />take steps therein provided and authorized and pursuant <br /> <br />to author i t:j' of this chapter. Ii <br /> <br />SJ~CTION 6. Sect ion 10.15 is hereby added to the Code of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> <br />II Sect i.QIJ.-._IO .15 .
