such hearing was continued, and did at the hearing in open public session ask for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and gave all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation and received evidence relevent to such annexation; and WHEREAS, this Council at the time of said hearing found and determined that protests to the proposed annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of Redwood City had not been made by private owners of one-half of the value of said territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, California, nor by private owners and public owners of one-half of the value of the territory as said value has been determined according to law; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby approve the annexation to the City of Redwood city of all the territory designated as "Edgewood Road Annexation No. 211 and hereinafter described, and does also hereby ordain that said terri- tory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City. The above mentioned territory which is designated as IIEdgewood Road Annexation No. 211 is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, described as follows: A parcel of land to be annexed to the City of Redwood CitYt comprising a portion of Lots 18 and 19 as said lots are designated on that certain map entitled "Hap of Johnson Subdivision," filed October 4, 1909, in Book 7 of }laps, at Page 2, in the office of the Recorder of San Hateo County, California; said parcel also comprising Lots land 2, as said lots are designated on that certain map entitled "Tract No. 549 ~ Pinecrest Manor, San Mateo County, Calif.t filed May 23, 1946, in Book 25 of Hapst at Page 55, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, being more particularly described as fo1101;,s: -3-
