<br />'This permit is granted by the City of Redwood <br />. City and accepted by the permittee upon the <br />condition that such permittee comply with and <br />abide by all the provisions of Article 2 of <br />Chapter 6 of the Code of Redwood City, Calif- <br />ornia. ' <br /> <br />with a line thereunder for signature by the permittee and a <br /> <br />witness. <br /> <br />"At the time of the delivery of such permit such <br /> <br />statement must be signed by the permittee in the presence of an <br /> <br />employee of the City who shall sign as a witness. <br /> <br />"Section 6.34 If the Manager finds that the statements <br /> <br />in the application required by section 6.29 are true, that the <br />inventory is complete, that the advertising set forth is not <br /> <br />false, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading in any respect, and <br /> <br />that the methods to be used by the applicant in conducting the <br /> <br />sale are not such as, in the opinion of the Manager, will work <br /> <br />a fraud upon the purchasers, the Manager shall issue to the <br /> <br />applicant a permit to conduct such sale in accordance with the <br /> <br />provisions of this article, otherwise the Manager shall deny <br /> <br />the application and refuse the permit. The Manager may refuse <br /> <br />a permit because of the insufficiency of the information set <br /> <br />forth in the application, but in such event the applicant may <br />file an amended application within five days after notification <br /> <br />of such refusal. <br /> <br />"Section 6.35 <br /> <br />Any person denied a permit, or aggrieved <br /> <br />by the conditions attached thereto, may appeal the decision of <br /> <br />the Manager to the City Council by filing with the City Clerk <br />within five days after notice of the denial or conditions, a <br /> <br />written request for a review of said decision and stating facts <br /> <br />supporting such request. The Council shall, upon the review, <br /> <br />affirm, modify, or reverse the decision of the Manager. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
