<br />a connection to the water system owned or operated by the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City shall be accompanied by the following <br /> <br />connection fees applicable to premises located in the <br /> <br />designated areas: <br /> <br />A rea s A & C <br /> <br />Area B <br /> <br />"(1) For 5/8 x 3/4 inch metered <br />services, a charge of $ 95.00 <br /> <br />$150.00 <br /> <br />"(2) For all service connections <br />of meter sizes larger than <br />5/8 x 3/4 inch the <br />following charges: <br /> <br />" (a) <br /> <br />For 3/4 inch <br />metered services 100.00 175.00 <br />For 1 inch <br />metered services 130.00 230.00 <br />For 1-1/2 inch <br />metered serv ices 275.00 410.00 <br />For 2 inch <br />metered services 385.00 680.00 <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />" (c) <br /> <br />" (d) <br /> <br />" (e) For meters larger than <br />2 inch the amount of <br />the charge shall be set <br />by the Director of Public <br />Works based upon his <br />estimate of the total <br />cost of installing the <br />serv ice. <br /> <br />"(3) In the event the actual total cost to the City <br />of installing the metered services exceeds the <br />charges set forth in subsections (1) or (2) of <br />this Section 38.10, the actual total cost shall <br />be charged to the applicant for such service. <br /> <br />"(4) The charge for a manifold meter installation <br />shall be the sum of the applicable individual <br />charges for each such installation. <br /> <br />"Section 38.11 <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />In the event the City constructs, <br /> <br />or causes the construction of, any water system facilities <br /> <br />from monies in the Water Fund or from any general funds of <br /> <br />the City (including the proceeds of any bond issue for which <br /> <br />the general credit of the City is obligated), an additional <br /> <br />fee in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) shall be <br /> <br />-5- <br />
