the hearing in open public session ask for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and gave all persons full oppor- tunity to protest said annexation and received evidence rele- vant to such annexation~ and WHEREAS, this Council at the time of said hearing found and determined that protests to the proposed annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the city of Redwood City had not been made by owners of one-half of the value of said territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, california, nor by public owners equal to one-half of the value of public property within said terri- toro as said value has been determined by said Council~ NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the city of Redwood city does hereby approve the annexation to the city of Redwood City of all the territory designated as "Hamilton Way Annex- ation" and hereinafter described, and does also hereby ordain . that said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City. The above mentioned territory which is desig- nated as "Hamilton Way Annexation" is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo, State of california, described as follows: # - 3 - ,. .
