<br />Board of Building Review which shall consist of five menfuers <br /> <br /> <br />appointed by the Council who are qualified by experience <br /> <br /> <br />and training in the building construction fields. <br /> <br />"Section 2.121 The term of office for each member <br /> <br /> <br />of the Board shall be four years, expiring on April 30 in <br /> <br /> <br />the fourth year. <br /> <br /> <br />"Section 2.122 The Board shall annually elect one <br /> <br /> <br />of its members to be chairman. The Building Inspector shall <br /> <br /> <br />be the secretary to the Board, shall keep permanent accurate <br /> <br /> <br />records of all proceedings before the Board and shall per- <br /> <br /> <br />form such-administrative functions as may be specified by <br /> <br />the Board. <br /> <br /> <br />"Section 2.123 Whenever any provision of Chapter 9 <br /> <br /> <br />of this Code (including the codes adopted therein by reference) <br /> <br /> <br />prescribes or delegates any duty, responsibility or power <br /> <br /> <br />upon a board of appeals or board of review, the Board of <br /> <br /> <br />Building Review shall have such duty, responsibility or <br /> <br /> <br />power. Such authority shall not extend to appeal provisions <br /> <br /> <br />of codes adopted by reference when such appeal provisions <br /> <br /> <br />are expressly not adopted. <br /> <br />"section 2.124 The Board of Building Review may <br /> <br /> <br />recormnend amendments to the Council for any of the codes <br /> <br /> <br />adopted by Chapter 9 of this Code. Such reco~mendations <br /> <br /> <br />shall be in the form of a report and draft ordinance and <br /> <br /> <br />shall be adopted by motion. Upon adoption, the recowmendation <br /> <br /> <br />shall be transmitted to the City Clerk for presentation to <br /> <br /> <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />"Section 2.125 The Board of Building Review shall <br /> <br /> <br />determine the suitability of alternate materials and types <br /> <br /> <br />of construction with respect to meeting the standards and <br /> <br />-30- <br /> <br />T <br />
