<br />(6) That none of the territory within the boundaries <br />of the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a junior <br />college district; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council duly met and convened at said time <br />and place for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all <br />prptests to said proposed annexation, and also at the time(s) <br />and place{s) to which such hearing was continued, and did at <br />the hearing in open public session ask for protests, if any, <br />to the proposed annexation and gave all persons full oppor- <br />tunity to protest said annexation and received evidence <br />relevant ,to such annexation; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council at the time of said hearing found <br />and determined that protests to the proposed annexation of <br />the hereinafter described territory to the City of Redwood <br />City had not been made by owners of one-half of the value of <br />said territory as shown by the last equalized assessment <br />roll of the County of San Mateo, California, nor by public <br />owners equal to one-half of the value of public property <br />within said territory as said value has been determined by <br />said Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />does hereby approve the annexation to the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty of all the territory designated as "~ CANYON ROAD <br /> <br />ANNEXATION NO.2" and hereinafter described, and does also <br /> <br /> <br />hereby ordain that said territory be and is hereby annexed <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City. The above mentioned territory <br /> <br />which is designated as II CANYON ROAD ANNEXATION NO.2 <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo, <br />State of California, described as follovlS: <br /> <br />- 3 - <br />
