SECTION 5. TAX RATE, DISTRICTS. (a) The total tax rate for the fiscal year July 1, ~967-June 30, 1968, upon each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of all taxable real property within Parking District No. 1 as established by Resolution No. 1808, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood city on December 20, 1954, and as confirmed by Resolution No. l827, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City on February 7, 1955, for all purposes, including the payment of bond interest and redemption of municipal improvement bonds, Series 55-1, be and the same is hereby fixed and levied at $2.1272 and the total tax rate for all other taxable property within said District is hereby fixed and levied at $1.6272. (b) The total tax for the fiscal year July 1, 1967-June 30, 1968, on property within General Improvement District No. 1-64 shall be established as the combined taxes fixed by Section 4, above, and subsections (h), (i) and (j) of Section 2 above. (c) No tax is levied for the following General Improvement Districts: (i) General Improvement District No. 1-65 as said district was established by Resolution No. 4589, adopted March 15, 1965: (ii) General Improvement District No. 2-65 as said district was established by Resolution No. 4591, adopted March 15, 1965; (iii) General Improvement District No. 3-65 as said district was established by Resolution No. 4593, adopted March 15, 1965. SECTION 6. REPEAL. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 7. SEVERABILITY. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance, and the City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted - 8 -
