'- JiJN 12 'fJ7 ORDINANCE N O. /a/(, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 32~l2l, 32.122, 32.l23, 32.l49 AND 32.171 OF ARTICLE V OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE IMPOSITION OF LOCAL TAXES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. section 32.l2l of Article V of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 32.l21 Every application for an original or renewal license shall be accompanied by a fee as follows: "(a) In the case of a flat rate license tax, the entire amount of the license tax due under this article shall be paid. "(b) In the case of a fee based upon the average number of employees, number of vehicles, or other variable basis, the applicant shall submit a statement of the average number of employees, vehicles or other basis employed or used by him in the business during the previous calendar year, and shall pay a license tax based on that statement as determined by the City Collector pursuant to the provisions of this article." SECTION 2. section 32.122 of Article V of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 32.122 If the applicant for a license whose tax is based upon the average number of employees, number of vehicles, or other variable basis, has been in business for less than a year at the time of applicanion, he shall submit a statement estimating the number of employees, vehicles or other basis estimated by him to be employed or
