used during the remainder of the calendar year in which the application is made and shall pay a license tax based on that statement as determined by the City Collector pursuant to the provisions of this article. within 30 days after expiration of the license issued pursuant to this section, the applicant shall submit to the City Collector a sworn statement of the actual number of employees, vehicles or other basis employed or used by him during the period of the estimate. Such statement may be included in a renewal application form. If the final license tax computed exceeds the tentative license tax paid, the additional amount due shall be paid with the application for a renewal license and in no event later than 31 days after expiration of the license period. If the final license tax computed is less than the tentative license tax paid, the City Collector shall credit the surplus amount to the license tax for the next period or, if the license is not continued, shall refund the surplus to the licensee." SECTION 3. Section 32.l23 of Article V of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 32.123 The number of vehicles used in com- puting the amount of license tax payable under this article shall be determined by the average number of vehicles regularly used in the conduct of such business in the City on anyone day."
