<br />used during the remainder of the calendar year in which the <br /> <br /> <br />application is made and shall pay a license tax based on <br /> <br /> <br />that statement as determined by the City Collector pursuant <br /> <br />to the provisions of this article. within 30 days after <br /> <br /> <br />expiration of the license issued pursuant to this section, <br /> <br />the applicant shall submit to the City Collector a sworn <br /> <br /> <br />statement of the actual number of employees, vehicles or <br /> <br />other basis employed or used by him during the period of <br /> <br />the estimate. Such statement may be included in a renewal <br /> <br />application form. If the final license tax computed exceeds <br /> <br /> <br />the tentative license tax paid, the additional amount due <br /> <br /> <br />shall be paid with the application for a renewal license <br /> <br /> <br />and in no event later than 31 days after expiration of the <br /> <br /> <br />license period. If the final license tax computed is less <br /> <br /> <br />than the tentative license tax paid, the City Collector <br /> <br />shall credit the surplus amount to the license tax for the <br /> <br /> <br />next period or, if the license is not continued, shall <br /> <br /> <br />refund the surplus to the licensee." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Section 32.l23 of Article V of Chapter 32 of <br /> <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read <br /> <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 32.123 The number of vehicles used in com- <br /> <br />puting the amount of license tax payable under this article <br /> <br />shall be determined by the average number of vehicles regularly <br /> <br />used in the conduct of such business in the City on anyone <br /> <br />day." <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Section 32.149 of Article V of Chapter 32 of <br /> <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read <br /> <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />"section 32.l49 <br /> <br />Every person conducting, managing, <br /> <br />-2- <br />
