<br />5/22/67 <br /> <br />be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of <br /> <br /> <br />competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity <br /> <br /> <br />of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The council of the <br /> <br /> <br />City of Redwood City hereby declares that it would have adopted <br /> <br /> <br />this ordinance and each section, sub-section, sentence, clause, <br /> <br /> <br />phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any <br /> <br /> <br />one or more sections, sub-sections, sentences, clauses, phrases <br /> <br /> <br />or portions be declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION S. The repeal of the ordinances or parts of <br /> <br /> <br />ordinances effectuated by the enactment of this ordinance shall <br /> <br /> <br />not be cons~~~eC! ~_a~o--~bat~n'I_any actions now pending _tl~C!er or by <br />virtue of such ordinances or as discontinuance, abating, modify- <br />ing or altering any penalty accruing or to accrue or as affecting <br />the liability of any person, firm or corporation, including <br />liability for unpaid business license taxes accrued under said <br />ordinances, or as waiving any right of the City of Redwood City <br />under any section or provision existing at the time of the passage <br />of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 6.
