<br />II (a) <br /> <br />of real property unless sp~cific~lly provided otnerwise: <br /> <br />II (b) <br /> <br />II (c) <br /> <br />II (d) <br /> <br />II (e) <br /> <br />II (f) <br /> <br />SECOY'ION 3. <br /> <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />A sian and a bulletin board, eacn not over 16 <br />::l <br />square feet in area, for any charitable or religious <br />institution when located on the premises of such <br />institution. <br /> <br />A sign not exceeding 32 square feet in area <br />denoting the architects; engineers and contractors <br />of any Vlork actually under construction. Individual <br />signs mounted on a single backing not exceeding <br />32 square feet in area shall comply with this <br />paragraph. <br /> <br />A sign not exceeding two square feet in ar~a plus, <br />for buildings in nonresidenti~lly zoned districts, <br />one square foot for e~ch tenant in the building, <br />denoting only the name of a building or the names <br />~nd professions of the occupants of a building. <br /> <br />A memorial sign or tablet and the name of a <br />building and date of erection, when not in excess <br />of ten square feet. <br /> <br />A sign not exceeding two square feet in area <br />designating the location of a public utility <br />facility available for public use, including <br />telephones. <br /> <br />Any sign purported to be placed pursuant to the <br />provisions of this section and that is in violation <br />thereof may be removed imr~ediately and without <br />notice by the Building Inspector. <br /> <br />Section 3.89 of said Code is hereby amended to <br /> <br />IISection 3.89 <br /> <br />All signs, including signs installed <br /> <br />prior to the adoption of this article, shall be constantly <br /> <br />rraintained in a state of sec~rity, safety and good repair. <br /> <br />If the Building Inspector finds that any sign is unsafe or <br /> <br />insecure, is a menace to the public safety or has been con- <br /> <br />structed, erected, relocated or altered after the <br /> <br />.-,.. ..L.. <br />e:r:Iec...~ve <br /> <br />date of this article in violation of the provisions hereof, <br /> <br />be snall give written notice to the owner or the tenant of <br /> <br />the property wherein it is located to remove or alter s~~h <br /> <br />sign.
