Section 3.126 of said Code is hereby amended to <br />'read as follows: <br /> <br />IISection 3.126 <br /> <br />Signs designed and used solely for <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />the purpose of indicating the location or direction of a <br /> <br />place or area on the premises upon which located, including <br /> <br />signs denoting entrances, exits, parking areas and similar <br /> <br />signs, may be erected without a sign permit, and in addition <br /> <br />to all other signs permitted by this ordinance, if they <br /> <br />comply with all of the following provisions: <br /> <br />"(a) Directional signs shall not exceed four square feet <br />in area. <br /> <br />II (b) Directional signs shall not exceed ten feet in height. <br /> <br />"(c) No more than eight directional signs shall be per- <br />mitted on any parce 1 of real property." <br /> <br />SECTION 17. Section 3.130 of said Code is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />IISection 3.130 <br /> <br />Notwithstanding the provisions of <br /> <br />Division 8 of this article relating to removal of nonconform- <br />ing signs, any sign adjacent to any landscaped section of a <br /> <br />free~ay which fails to conform to the requirements of <br />Section 3.128 shall be removed or shall be rearranged or <br /> <br />relocated so as to eliminate any conflict with the provisions <br /> <br />of this article within one year after such freeway section <br /> <br />is landscaped or within one year after any landscaped fFee- <br /> <br />way section is annexed to the City: provided, however, that <br /> <br />no sign adjacent to any landscaped section of the freeway <br />shall be required to be removed, or rearranged, or relocated, <br /> <br />-7- <br /> <br />c' <br /> <br />, , <br />. . . ..-.~.......r-_"_' '-----.~_......-.-_...--.-:------------- ..__..__....,.-.-""7"*.._-~._~---_._.....------_h_; -..... <br />
