Section 4.5 is added to Ordinance No. 1232, entitled as aforesaid, to read as follows: "Section 4.5 Employees appointed to positions in the following classifications shall receive a monthly salary with- in salary range 21 as established by Section 1: Billing Clerk " SECTION 3. The amendments and addition to Ordinance No. 1232 provided for herein shall be operative as follows: (a) Sections 4.5, 5, 6, 15, 32 and 33 of Ordinance No. 1232 as amended in Section 1 hereof shall be operative retro- actively to January 1, 1966. (b) Section 14 of Ordinance No. 1232 as amended in Section 1 hereof shall be operative retroactively to January 1, 1966 insofar as said amendment affects the following positions: Automotive Mechanic Helper Deputy City Clerk Deputy City Treasurer Equipment Operator I Secretary to City Manager Treatment Plant Operator Section 14 of Ordinance No. 1232 as amended in Section 1 hereof shall be operative from and including July 1, 1966, insofar as said amendment affects the following position: Police Matron Supervisor (c) Section 28 of Ordinance No. 1232 as amended in Section 1 hereof shall be operative from and including July 1, 1966, insofar as said amendment affects the following position: Water Operations Supervisor -3-
