<br />"Section 203. The term "assessment roll" <br />means the last equalized assessment roll on <br />which district or improvement district taxes <br />are collected." <br />Section 2. Section 204 of the Ordinance is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 204. The term "assessor" means <br />district or improvement district assessor unless <br />the district or improvement district taxes are <br />assessed by the county assessor in which event <br />it means the county assessor." <br />Section 3. Section 1307 of the Ordinance is hereby <br />amended to reaQ as follows: <br />"Section 1307. Collection of Taxes. All <br />taxes provided by this chapter shall be levied <br />and collected at the same time, in the same manner, <br />and upon the same assessment roll, and have the <br />same penalties, interest, costs and provisions <br />for redemption and sale for non-payment, as gen- <br />eral city taxes, except that the amounts and pur- <br />poses of all such taxes shall be set forth in the <br />ordinance levying such taxes and that Sections <br />51 and 51.5 of the Charter shall not be applicable <br />to any district or improvement district; and ex- <br />cept that the Council may by ordinance retain as <br />to anyone or more districts or improvement dis- <br />tricts either or both of the powers of (a) <br /> <br />2 <br />
