<br />REG;ek;lO/22/65-7 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />N O. /2.J1 <br /> <br />ORDI~mNCE RESTORING CONTROL AND JURISDICTION OVER <br />PORTION OF MARINE HARBOR AREA TO PORT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to subsection (4) of Section 47f of the <br /> <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Port Department has <br /> <br />heretofore transferred jurisdiction and control over a certain <br /> <br />portion of the Marine Harbor Area to the Council of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City for municipal purposes; and, <br /> <br />~rnEREAS, this Council accepted such control and jurisdiction <br /> <br />over said area; and, <br /> <br />~~HEREAS, the Board of port Commissioners has requested that <br /> <br />control and jurisdiction over the hereinafter described portion <br /> <br />of said area be returned and retransferred to it so that it may <br /> <br />reassume and re-exercise control and jurisdiction thereof and <br /> <br />utilize the same for Port purposes; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is found by this Council that such reversion <br /> <br />and restoration of control and jurisdiction over the hereinafter <br /> <br />described portion of real property to the port Department is <br /> <br />desirable and in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That, in accordance with Section 47f, subsection (4), <br /> <br />of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, control of and juris- <br /> <br />diction over the following described portion of real property, <br /> <br />being a part of the "port Area" as said area is defined by <br /> <br />Section 50 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, be and <br /> <br />the same is hereby surrendered and restored to the Port Department. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The territory referred to above, being a portion <br /> <br />of the "Port Areall of the City of Redwood City, is all that real <br />
