<br />ORD.!NANCE <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1t ~: J <br /> <br />REG:yc:4/20/65 <br /> <br />~ <br />~~)., . <br /> <br />ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 24 OF, AND ADDING <br />CHAPTER 24 TO, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADOPTING BY REFERENCE <br />THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1964 EDITION, WITH <br />AMENDMENTS, TO ESTABLISH RULES, REGULATIONS AND <br />STANDARDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF PLUMBING <br />FIXTURES AND APPLIANCES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS .FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 24 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24 is hereby added to the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />, <br />( <br /> <br />"CHAPTER 24 <br />PLUMBING CODE <br />Article I. Adoption. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provisions of section <br /> <br />Ii Section 24.l <br /> <br />50022.1, et seq., of the Government Code that certain code <br /> <br />It <br /> <br />entitled 'Western Plumbing Officials Uniform Plumbing Code, <br /> <br />1964 Edition, M as adopted by the 34th Annual Conference of <br /> <br />the Western Plumbing Officials Association, October, 1963, <br />including the appendices thereto, is adopted as the Plumbing <br />Code for the City of Redwood City and its provisions shall <br />be effective to the same extent as if published in full herein. <br /> <br />"Section 24.2 <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall maintain three <br /> <br />copies of the Plumbing Code on file and available for public <br /> <br />inspe ction . <br /> <br />"section 24.3 <br /> <br />The violation of any provision of this <br /> <br />chapter, any code adopted by this chapter, or any rule or <br /> <br />regulation adopted pursuant to any adopted code, is a mis- <br />demeanor punishable as provided in Section 107. <br /> <br />/-wi. <br />~ <br /> <br />, . <br />, ..' <br />'-I <br /> <br />The provisions of the Plumbing Code <br /> <br />II Section 24.4 <br /> <br />shall be administered and enforced by the Building Inspector. <br /> <br />The Building Inspector shall be assisted by all other <br /> <br />J'( <br /> <br />.,' <br />
