<br />II Se ct ion 24 . 38 <br /> <br />Chapter 15 is added to the Plumbing <br /> <br />Code to read as follows: <br /> <br />" I CHAPTER 15 <br />SWIMMING POOLS <br /> <br />"'section 1501 <br /> <br />Swimming pool waste ~ater shall <br /> <br />be disposed of as hereinafter set forth in this chapter <br /> <br />and the type of disposal proposed shall be approved by <br /> <br />the Administrative Authority prior to the commencement <br /> <br />of the work. <br /> <br />"'Section l502 <br /> <br />Backwash water shall not be per- <br /> <br />mitted to discharge into a storm sewer unless the <br /> <br /> <br />discharge end of the sewer ends in a water course that <br /> <br />is flushed by tidal action or there is a continuous <br /> <br />flow of water in the stream during all the year. Ap- <br />proval should be in writing from the local health <br /> <br />officer if waste water is permitted to a storm sewer. <br /> <br />II · Section 1503 <br /> <br />Where space and conditions are <br /> <br />such that no hazard, nuisance or insanitary condition <br /> <br />is evidenced, swimming pool waste water may be used <br /> <br />for irrigation by surface or sub-surface spreading. <br /> <br />Waste water disposal from public or semipublic pools <br /> <br />shall be subject to the requirements of Title 17 of <br /> <br />the State Administrative Code. <br /> <br />"'Section l504 <br /> <br />Waste discharge into dry wells <br /> <br />shall be approved by the Regional Water Pollution <br />Control Boards or Local Health Department. <br /> <br />II I Section 1505 <br /> <br />No direct connection shall be <br /> <br />made between any storm drain sewer drainage system, <br /> <br />dry well or subsoil irrigation line and any' line con- <br /> <br />nected to a swimming pool. <br /> <br />-23- <br />
