<br />SECTION 2. Section 2.41.7 is hereby added to the Code of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.4l.7 <br /> <br />(a) 'A special fund desig-nated "Vlater <br /> <br />System Improvement Fund" is hereby created. ;,11 moneys received <br /> <br />by the city from the collection of the charges established by <br /> <br />Chapter 38 shall be deposited in such fund. <br /> <br />U(b) Moneys deposited in the Water System Improvement <br /> <br />Fund shall be expended solely for the following purposes: <br /> <br />"(l) The acquisition, construction and reconstruction <br />of water system facilities, including the exten- <br />sion or replacement of existing mains and trans- <br />mission lines. <br /> <br />"(2) The making of principal and interest payments <br />due on any bond issue sold for the purpose of <br />acquiring, constructing or reconstructing <br />water system facilities." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 38 (commencing at ~38.l) is hereby added to <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"CHJI.p'rER 38 <br /> <br />WATER SYSTEM REGULATIONS <br /> <br />"Section 38.l In addition to all other charges and <br /> <br />fees applicable to users of water from the water system <br /> <br />owned or operated by the city of Redwood City, as established <br /> <br />by the water rules and regulations presently in effect, a Water <br />Meter Service charge shall be paid in accordance with the <br />following' schedule: <br /> Meter Size Service Charge <br /> 5/8 inch $ .35 per month <br /> 3/4 inch .60 p~r m5nth <br /> 1 it'l.ch .85 per month <br /> l-l/2 inch 1.35 per month <br /> 2 inch 1. 50 per month <br /> 3 inch 4.50 per month <br /> 4 inch 7.00 per month <br /> D inch 14.00 per month <br /> 8 inch 22.50 per month <br /> 10 inch 32.00 per month <br /> l2 inch 45.00 per month <br /> 16 inch 90.00 per month <br /> -2- <br />
