<br />"Section 38.2 The water meter service charge for meters <br /> <br /> <br />serving premises located outside the city are hereby established <br /> <br />at two times the monthly rate established by Section 38.l. <br /> <br /> <br />"Section 38.3. The water meter service charge shall be paid <br /> <br />at the same time as the regular billing for water service based <br /> <br /> <br />upon the amount of water consumed and the non-payment of the <br /> <br /> <br />water meter service charge shall result in the discontinuance <br /> <br /> <br />of water service under the same rules and regulations that are <br /> <br /> <br />applicable to non-payment of the billing for water consumed. The <br /> <br /> <br />water meter service charge shall be pro-rated where water service <br /> <br />is utilized for only a portion of a billing period. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its <br /> <br /> <br />adoption but shall not be operative with respect to each water consumer <br /> <br /> <br />and/or sewer user until the completion of the billing period in progress <br /> <br /> <br />on the effective date of this ordinance and shall not be given a <br /> <br /> <br />retroactive effect. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-3- <br />
