II OF, THE CODE OF Trill CITY OF {EDv100D <br />CITY, RELA'rING TO ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES AND THE ADOPTION <br />OF ELECT1~ICAL CODES FO.a, THE CI'l'Y OF ilEDvJOOD CI'rY <br /> <br />TI-rC; COUNCIL OF REDVlOOD CITY DOES O,HDAIN AS FOLLO\vS: <br /> <br />SECTION l. Article I of Chapter ll, Sec'cions ll.7 through <br /> <br />ll.l3, and Sections 11.17 through 11.20 are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Article I is hereby added to Chapter II of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Article I. General Provisions <br /> <br />"Section ll.l <br /> <br />The provisions of this chapter shall <br /> <br />be enforced by the Building Inspector and his authorized <br /> <br />assistants. Whenever the term 'electrical inspector' is <br /> <br />used in any code adopted by 'this chapter, that term shall <br /> <br />mean the Building Inspector and his authorized representative. <br /> <br />"Section 11.2 <br /> <br />The violation of any provision of this <br /> <br />chap'cer, any code adopted by this chapter, or any rule or <br /> <br />regulation adopted pursuant to any adopted code, is a mis- <br /> <br />demeanor punishable as provided in Section l.7" <br /> <br />SECTION 3. ll.rticle III is hereby added 'to Chapter II of <br /> <br />'the Code of 'the City of J,{ec~V\7ood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />IlArticle III. Adoption o:E Electrical Codes <br /> <br />"Section ll.20 <br /> <br />(a) Pursuant to Section 5022.l, et <br /> <br />seq., of -the Government Code of the sta'te of California, <br /> <br />the text of the 'Electrical Code of the County of San Mateo, ' <br /> <br />as adopted by Ordinance No. l630 of the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />lS hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and its provisions shall be applicable within <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City -to the salile ex-tent as if published <br /> <br />in full herein. <br />
