the City of Redwood city, to read as follows: "Section 2.41.2 A 'Sales Tax Capital Expenditure Fund' is hereby established. All monies set aside and al- located to the Sales Tax capital Expenditure Fund, pursuant to Section 32.8, may be appropriated or expended for any of the following purposes, and no others: II (a) Any purpose for which funds in the Sales Tax Capital outlay Fund may be expended. II (b) The acquisition of personal property, furnishings, fixtures or equipment of a permanent nature having an anticipated life of three or more, years. "(c) Any purpose for which funds in the Equipment Replacement Fund may be expended." SECTION 9. Section 2.41.3 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: "Section 2.41.3 A special fund to be known as the 'Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund' is hereby estab- lished. All monies received by the City from the State of California under the provisions of section 198 of the Streets and Highways Code shall be deposited in said fund. All monies in said fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and shall be subject to, the provisions of Article 5 (commencing at ~l82) of Chapter 1, Division 1, of the Streets and Highways Code." SECTION 10. Section 2.41.4 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: "section 2.41.4 A special fund to be known as the 'Traffic Safety Fund' is hereby established. All monies received by the City from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of Section 42200 of the Vehicle Code shall be deposited in said fund and shall be expended solely for the purposes stated in said Section 42200.11 -4-
