<br />Park Standard and Development Ordinance <br />Director Centeno said that the Park Development Ordinance continues to move <br />forward the next steps will be to meet with the Finance Committee and then <br />make an overall presentation on development fees to Council in early December. <br />Vice Chairperson White noted he had received an email regarding <br />recommendations on affordability made by the Housing and Human Concerns <br />Committee and asked that the recommendation be included in the Commission's <br />packet in November. <br /> <br />Parks for the Future <br />Vice Chairperson White noted that Measure A is on the November Ballot. <br /> <br />Red Morton Synthetic Turf Project <br />Superintendent Hover reported that the project is on schedule and the first phase <br />is scheduled for completion in mid December when the contractor will move on to <br />McGarvey and Mitchell Fields. <br /> <br />Solari Windmill <br />Superintendent Hover said that the project is moving forward with the selection of <br />Michael Kastrop as the Architect. In response to a question from Commissioner <br />Swope he reported that seed money is available in the Capital Improvement <br />Program but additional funds would be needed. The Committee has several <br />ideas for groups that might lend support including the Native Sons and Foresters. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br /> <br />Director Centeno invited Commissioners to attend the Halloween Spooktacular, <br />at Red Morton Community Center, andlor the Autumn Festival on Saturday, <br />October 28th. <br /> <br />ITEMS FOR NEXT MONTH'S AGENDA <br /> <br />Director Centeno reported that the next regularly scheduled Commission meeting <br />would fall the day before the Thanksgiving Holiday and suggested the <br />Commission move their meeting to November 15 or 29. The Commission agreed <br />to move their November meeting date to November 29th and to cancel their <br />regular December meeting. <br /> <br />Items to be included on the November agenda are the review of the Department <br />Annual Report and Commission work plan and Election of Officers for the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned at <br />9:40 pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, November 29th, 2006 at the <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />T <br />
