<br />DES:djk /03/90 (045/26) <br />DES:djk u4/05/90R <br /> <br />of materials, equipment and supplies not currently on hand or in <br /> <br />stock with the City, and/or the performance of work not within <br /> <br />the capability of said Department, shall be purchased or <br /> <br />performed, respectively, subject to the provisions of Article VII <br /> <br />of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City and Sections <br /> <br />67 and 68 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, as <br /> <br />appropriate. <br /> <br />2. The Director of General Services is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed, subject to the administrative authority of the City <br /> <br />Manager, to carry out the aforesaid public work and improvement, <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />such purchase orders or other documents (in form approved by the <br /> <br />City Attorney) necessary for the performance of the aforesaid <br /> <br />work or improvement, subject to such portions thereof as may be <br /> <br />subject to the provisions of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Code and Sections 67 and 68 of the Charter of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, as specified in the proviso of paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11258 <br />
