This permit is issued pursuant to Minute Order No. * made <br />and entered * by the Council of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />The permission herein is granted to The Human Race (hereinafter, for <br />convenience, called "Permittee"). This permit is subject to the following terms <br />and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event. The Human Race shall be sponsored and conducted <br />by Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation. This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Nontransferability. This permit is nontransferable. <br /> <br />4. Location. The activities herein permitted shall be conducted in the <br />Redwood Shores area <br />REFER TO ATTACHED MAP, EXHIBIT 'A'. <br /> <br />5. Dates and Time. The Human Race shall be conducted on May 12, <br />1990 with the set-up time of 5:30 AM The 'run' portion of the event will <br />commence at 8:30 AM. The walk portion of the event will begin at 9:00 AM. The <br />race will end by 2:00 PM and the course will be completely clear by 3:00 PM. <br /> <br />6. Course Control. Those portions of The Human Race taking place in <br />the public rights of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br />designated by the Chief of Police. Should the Chief of Police determine that the <br />provision of Police Officers is required for the control of traffic in connection with <br />said The Human Race, Permittee agrees to reimburse City for costs ..." <br />associated therewith. <br /> <br />I J 2..53 -.- <br />
