<br />-ES:r~k 02/07/90 (015/39) <br />DES: K 03/26/90R <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WATER AND SEWER RATE STUDY <br /> <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT made this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1990 by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, ("City") and KENNEDY/ <br /> <br />JENKS/CHILTON, 543 Byron Street, Palo Alto, California, 94301, a <br /> <br />California corporation ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant entered into that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement for Preparation of a Water and <br /> <br />Sewer Rate Study", approved pursuant to Resolution No. 10965 <br /> <br />adopted January 16, 1989 by City's City Council (the "Basic <br /> <br />Agreement"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the scope of services to be provided pursuant to <br /> <br />the Basic Agreement was substantially increased subsequent to <br /> <br />execution thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant desire to amend the Basic <br /> <br />Agreement to include the expanded scope of services and to <br /> <br />provide compensation therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />EXPANDED SERVICES. <br /> <br />The Basic Agreement is hereby <br /> <br />amended by adding to the scope of services described in Exhibit A <br /> <br />thereof, the services described in Exhibit "A-I", attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL <br /> <br />COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />Compensation <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />additional services provided hereunder shall be made pursuant to <br /> <br />paragraph 2 of the Basic Agreement; provided, however, that the <br /> <br />\ 125\ <br />
