<br />Public Tree- A tree on City property, such as a City right-of-way, a City park, <br />public natural waterway easements, public port areas, public plazas, and <br />areas around public buildings. <br /> <br />Tree - A woody plant that provides shade usable by humans. <br /> <br />Tree Advisory Committee - A standing committee chosen by the City <br />Council that will provide oversight and input for the City's tree policies and <br />procedures (including tree education and outreach programs), hear appeals <br />of tree permit decisions made by City staff, and designate Landmark Trees, <br />as appropriate. <br /> <br />Revised 11/29/2006 <br />Page 18 of 25 <br /> <br />7A <br />Page 22 <br />
