Peter [. llughes Peninsula Celebration Association 814 Hamilton Street Redwood City, California 94063 SUBJECT: 1990 INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL The City Counci'l on March 19. 1990 has authorized me to issue this letter which will serve as your permission to conduct an Independence Day Parade and Festival in the City of Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. The pennission 'is granted to the Peninsula Celebration Association (here'i nafter, for convenience. called "Permittee"). Thi s pennit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. PAMOE Atm FESTIVAL. The parade and fes ti va 1 shall be sponsored and conducted by Permittee. 2. REVOCATION. Thi s perm it mil,}' be revoked at any time without cause by the City of Redwood City. This pennit is non-transferable. 3. LOCAnON. The parade herein permitted shall be conducted, and the route reserved therefor, in the areas shown in "Map A". The festival herein permi tted sha 11 be conducted, and the streets reserved therefor, on Broadway between Main and Winslow Streets, and Hamilton and Middlefield Streets between TheaterjMiddlefield and Marshall Street. ". DATES, TIME. The parade and f es t i va 1 shall be conducted on Wednesday, July 4, 1990. The parade staging area shall be reserved from 6:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.; the parade route shall be reserved from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., and the festival location from 7:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Fireworks shall be that evening over the South Shores area. The Permittee shall obtain written consent from the South Shores property owner(s). 14
