<br />f <br />O. <br /> <br />INSURANCE. PenniUee shall furnish to the City public liability and <br />property da~A1age insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, <br />boards, commissions, officers, employees and agents as insureds, or <br />additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal <br />injury or death to any person or persons resulting or arising from <br />the conducting of the activities herein described, or from any act <br />or omission of Permittee in connection therewith, in the amounts of <br />$l,O~),OOO for each person and $1,000,000 for each occurance, and <br />property damage or injury to or destruction of property, including the <br />loss of use thereof, in the amount of $500,000. The City shall be <br />named as an additional insured and a specific endorsement shall be <br />required for alcoholic beverage sales. Evidence of the insurance <br />required hereunder, in form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished <br />by Permittee to the City prior to the commencement of said parade and <br />festival. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERlY. It is understood and agreed that Permittee <br />shall be responsible for and shall reimburse the City for the costs of <br />any damages to or suffered by City-owned property arising out of the <br />conducting of the Independence Day Parade and Festival permitted <br />hereunder. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate <br />rules, regulations, and laws applicable to any and all activities <br />which are part of or associated said parade and festival. <br />Specifically, Pennittee or any individual event participants shall <br />be responsible for obtaining necessary State ABC permits and County <br />Health permits. Permittee shall obtain all necessary, State, County <br />and City permits pertaining to the fireworks display. This pennit <br />shall be in addition to all other pennits which are or may be required <br />for conducting said parade and festival, or any activity associated <br />therewith. Any sale of alcoholic beverages shall cease not later <br />than 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />HOLD HARMLESS. Pennittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council officers, <br />boards, connissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, <br />damages or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or <br />nature whatsoever resulting from or arising out of the perfonnance <br />or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise resulting <br />from or arising out of said parade and festival and the activities <br />herein permitted. <br /> <br />11244 <br />
