Ca1 ifornia 94063 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: WOODSIDE KIWANIS CLUB CARNIVAL <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Wang: <br /> <br />The City Council on March 19. 1990 has authorized me to <br />issue this letter permitting Woodside Kiwanis. through <br />Butler Amusements Inc.. to conduct a Carnival in Downtown <br />Redwood City. subject to and in accordance with the terms <br />and conditions herein. <br /> <br />The permission is granted to Woodside Kiwanis. through <br />Butler Amusements Inc., called IIPermittee". by the City of <br />Redwood City. hereinafter called "Cityll. This letter permit <br />is subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. CARNIVAL. The parade and festival shall be sponsored by <br />and conducted by Pennittee. The sale of alcoholic beverages <br />shall be prohibited. <br /> <br />2. REVOCATION. This permit may be revoked at any time <br />without cause by the City of Redwood City. This permit <br />is non-transferable. <br /> <br />3. LOCATION. The City shall order the necessary temporary <br />parking lot closures of the City-owned IIl.Inicipa1 lot at <br />Jefferson and Middlefield (Map Area"B"). and provide <br />barricades, but Permittee shall be responsible for placing <br />the barricades. The area as shown in Map Area"B". shall be <br />reserved for the Carnival. <br /> <br />4. DATES. TIME. The Carnival shall be held on Sunday. 7-1-90 <br />through Wednesday. 7-4-90 from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. with set-up <br />beginning at 6 P.M. on 6-30-90. through midnight. 7-4-90 <br />for take-down and clean-up. The Carnival shall not operate <br />on 7-4-90 until after 1:00 P.M. or the end of the July 4th <br />Parade. whichever is later. <br /> <br />11243 <br />
