9. CITY SERVICES. fhe City agrees to provide the following requested services: *Nonnal Police patrol during the event; *Notification signs that the parking lot will be closed fr~n 6 P.M., 6-30-89 through Midnight 7-4-89 to alert parking lot users. 10. RESTROOM FACILITIES. Adequate temporary restroom facilities (minimum of 8) shall be provided by Permittee and serviced dur-ing event as needed at no expense to the City. 11. MISCELLANEOUS AND ADDITIONAL MATTERS. It is further agreed that the following miscellaneous concerns and services shall be the responsibility of Pennittee, coordinated with and approved by the City Manager's Office regarding: "*- A temporary fence (6' along rai lroad side) shall be placed around the carnival area with entrances at established cross- walks to direct pedestrian traffic and contain litter; * Perodic trash cleanup during event and continued availability of trash containers and bins through the area; * Agreement by Kiwanis to cover the first $2,000 of any damage or loss before submitting to insurance company; * Provide private security to the Carnival (unanned insured and 1 icensed); * Provide $500 for lost meter revenue estimated for that period; * On site presence of at least 2 Kiwanis members during operating hours avail ab "Ie as Ci ty contact; * Establishment of a First Aid Station and event headquarters; * Notifieat ion of Downtown Merchants, Farmer's Market, and Gypsy Cellar Resturant, and coordination with same regarding their continued operations, specifically, as to temporary signs as may be needed by the Gypsy Cellar. * Soft drink sales in cans or paper cups, no bottles. Additional or further matters not herein described or contemplated in connection with said Carnival shall not be effectuated without the prior written consent of the City Manager. 11243
