<br />CES:dj- 02/20/90 (020/27) <br />OR\G\NJ\l <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 1 233 <br /> <br />FEB 2 6 1~90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION <br />HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM (HVAC) AT THE <br />MEMORIAL THEATRE, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID <br />PERTAINING THERETO <br /> <br />OF A NEW <br />VETERANS <br />AGREEMENT <br />SECURITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11204 adopted January 8, <br />1990, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Installation of <br /> <br />a New Heating and Cooling System (HVAC) at the Veterans Memorial <br /> <br />Theatre; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, two bids were <br /> <br />received and filed with the City Clerk ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Thermal Mechanical, of Santa Clara, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the Installation of a New <br /> <br />Heating and Cooling System (HVAC) at the Veterans Memorial <br /> <br />Theatre, and it is the desire and intention of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Thermal Mechanical, of Santa Clara, California; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Thermal Mechanical, of Santa Clara, <br /> <br />California, in the amount of Forty-Nine Thousand Four Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty-Five <br /> <br />and No/I00 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($49,485.00) , <br /> <br />computed <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />for completion of the <br /> <br />Installation of a New Heating and Cooling System (HVAC) at the <br /> <br />Veterans Memorial Theatre, dated January 30, 1990, and in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />
