This proposal shall remain <br />in effect for sixty (60) days. <br /> <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING I HISTORY: <br />The City of Redwood City is proposing to retain beals alliance to provide athletic design, landscape <br />architectural, and civil engineering design services for the athletic field renovations at the two parks <br />identified above. The general project scope is to complete the documentation of these two parks (the <br />design was completed through Design Development) and then provide comprehensive bidding and <br />construction administration services. <br /> <br />It is assumed that these two sites will be packaged and bid in one complete documentation package. The <br />anticipated schedule is to bid the package in Winter 2007 (preferably January 2007), award in February, and <br />begin construction in late Winter / early Spring 2007. <br /> <br />SPECIFIC SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br />beals alliance proposes to provide the following services in accordance with our above stated <br />understanding of the project: <br /> <br />A. Construction Documentation: baals alliance will take the Design Development package <br />completed for Marlin and Sandpiper Parks as part of the Red Morton Park project and incorporate <br />the City comments into the detailed documents, which will ultimately be used for construction. <br />There will be one bid package completed in this phase. <br />1. 95 % Submittal Package <br />a) Attend one meeting with the City staff to re-start the project and review Value <br />Engineering opportunities. Meeting agenda and report will be provided. <br />b) Review 50% submittal comments from City and incorporate them into design package. <br />c) Modify base plan as required to incorporate City comments. <br />d) Develop drawings and details completed to a 95% construction document level.
