RD - 89 -18 <br /> <br />CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY CERTIFYING FINAL EIR FOR <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City (the "Agency") has prepared the Second Amendment to the <br /> <br />Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 ("Second <br /> <br />Amendment"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency as the lead agency under the State <br /> <br />Guidelines for the implementation of the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"), caused a Draft EIR to be prepared with <br /> <br />respect to the Second Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Agency's CEQA guidelines a <br /> <br />public hearing concerning the Draft EIR was held before the <br /> <br />Planning Commission on September 19, 1989, following publication <br /> <br />of notice, which hearing was continued to and concluded on <br /> <br />October 3, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agency established a 45 day period for the <br /> <br />receipt of written comments concerning the Draft EIR, which <br /> <br />period expired on October 13, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no comments were received during said public <br /> <br />hearing, but during the period for receiving written comments <br /> <br />three sets of written comments were received, one set from the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, one set from the Legal A~ Soc\ety of San <br /> <br />Mateo County, and one set from the fovfowing four school <br /> <br />districts acting in concert: Sequoia UniOn High School District, <br /> <br />II / ??
